BAUS Atelier is an architecture and interior design studio serving an international community. With offices in Brussels, Belgium; Valla Beach on the beautiful Mid North Coast of New South Wales, Australia; and Tiburon, California in spectacular Marin County. Principals and co-founders Christophe Valvekens, Kimber Hirsch and Amber McQuown are conceiving projects across the globe with personal attention.

We offer full architecture and interior design services from initial concept design through to completion of construction. Our architectural services are typically all inclusive of the building design as well as the interior spaces, cabinetry, finishes and fixtures. We offer interior design services for completion of your home or project with furnishings and fabrics.

We have local resources for engineers to coordinate the complete design of your project and can assist you with finding a contractor to facilitate completion of construction.

Our projects span a range of architectural styles. From a modern-rustic home, to a restoration or interpretation of a classical French chateau, to a sustainable passive solar house, we are experts at developing authentic designs for your dream home or project.

We are experienced at designing with a range of materials and structural systems including wood, steel, stone, concrete, bricks, stucco and cellular blocks. We conceive projects at a high level of efficiency and sustainability, including Europe's rigorous Passive House standards.

We are experts at utilizing 3-D modeling tools to help you visualize your project at completion before it is built.

We are a team that is capable and experienced to work on an international level. We have projects in California, Uruguay, Italy, France, Belgium and Australia. We know that attention to detail and a sensitivity to your needs are the foundation for a successful construction project. Honesty, integrity and respect are our motto.
